So, I was really iffy about reading this story, because rape/violence fic really squicks me, but I've been pushing through it despite that, because the world you've created is so interesting. I wanted to stop off here and say what a nice job you've done with the Winchester family dynamics ...as cariadean said, it's kind of cool to see how things might be completely different, but they're still very much the same.
