And, as for the Impala, well ... Dean has no reason to think it is anywhere other than where he left it, which is basically outside somewhere, but he's not even allowed outside the room, so ... ya know ... he hasn't personally seen the car for a bit, and then there's the whole ongoing apocalypse issue that may or may not have affected the car.
