So eventually I got back to leaving fuller feedback. I'm so useless, but better late than never.
Anyway I came away from this part of the story arc feeling sorry for Sam which I wasn't expecting. I was also really really irritated with Dean. He is very Dean in this isn't he *g* You almost feel that if he'd done as he was told in this and behaved things wouldn't be quite so awful as they become and Sam might not be as cruel to him as he is. Not sure if that's what you were intending but that's how I read it. I also find it interesting that the girl tells him to watch out for Sam. Who's she? Do we see her again? Nope I'm not expecting you to answer.
This was very hot and an interesting view into how their world has become, the training etc. I always find when I read one of these chapters that I have to read it more than once to pick everything up and even then I'm probably not getting everything. You can also still see the love that Sam has for Dean in this, how much he wants Dean to accept what he's become but of course Dean being Dean he won't, and if he did would Sam really want him. Anyway enough of my questions.
So yes, this was excellent as ever and left more questions than it answered.
