Dude, you are NOT useless. I love feedback whenever, however, wherever, etc. Feedback can't be late, to me. :)
Now then, as for how/what this piece made you feel? I'm big on believing in the validity of a vast array of reactions to/interpretations of text. I think the situation is complex for both boys, perhaps more than some readers thought up to this point. So, if this piece gives you some different perspectives on each of them, then I consider that a major success. I think it's quite reasonable, though, to both have sympathy for and be bothered by both boys. Nothing is cut and dry here.
As for the various other characters seen here, I'll just say keep your eyes wide open. ;-D
I'm glad you found the story hot and also interesting in terms of the bits of this world that you got to see. I definitely understand the need for re-reading. It's one of the things about this 'verse that I love. There are little nuggets of information half-hidden everywhere, both about the world and about the boys. It's good to hear, though, that Sam's affection for Dean and desire for his brother to accept things came through. They're both just so twisted up right now. *sigh*
As for questions, you're allowed to ask as many as you like, whenever you like. It's always really interesting for me to hear what people are pondering as they read my stories, so ... no need to stifle yourself here. This particular piece is absolutely meant to create some questions, but you may also find, as the series continues, that it also answers some questions that you might only start to ask later. *is cryptic*
Geewhiz, do I love writing and talking about this 'verse! Thanks for coming by and indulging me with your reading and your in-depth feedback! :D
