I stayed up til gone 2 in the morning reading this when I first saw it but was too tired to comment. Sorry!!!

Just read again and this was seriously messing with my head. I'm making the presumption that Sam is good dream Sam who is trying to guide Dean into understanding where he stands in the new world. I know Dean really doesn't want to accept what Evil!Sam has done to him and it is only through dreams that he will be able to process and try to accept.

It was interesting setting it in a classroom with other pupils going through similar lessons. Will we be meeting some of these characters again?
