Yeah, I'm all about romping through mysteries and ambiguities, but hopefully they reveal themselves piecemeal over time as the 'verse progresses. The nature of this particular dream is, I think especially awesome in it's complexity and potential confusions, so it's no wonder that it got your gears going.
I'm really glad you're exploring this 'verse, though, it's truly a pleasure to write, in all its mix of horror and hotness. As for the endings, I think they're fitting and good, though perhaps not what everyone's cup of tea - as with the rest of the 'verse, of course. You make a good point, though. It's not just Sam and Dean who have changed, but in fact the world was changed and its unclear if that's fixable, so I think there's a lot more intriguing ground to cover in the series and I hope you'll stick around to find out how it ends. :)
