yet more very long, rambling comment

Dean was so brave in this story. You write his inner turmoil so beautifully, but with such a quiet strength: I loved how he clung to his name, even when Sam tried to make him nameless, and how easily he flipped straight back to big brother mode when it seemed like Sam might need that. He's getting very good at rationalisation and survival, with the slave responses becoming engrained by the end. His situation just seems to get more hopeless, but his own dream conversations with the Sammy in his head were very interesting - it's quite zen, the idea that to win you must first surrender the self. His uncertainty and wish to go back to the routine when Sam gave him the tiniest bit of freedom to set up the punishment in the final chapter broke my heart.

There's a couple of things I've been wondering which I'd like to ask about the future of the series, which I hope you don't mind... please don't take them as complaints, because I completely understand how life precludes doing a lot of writing, and you're very good to us in the long and thoughtful installments! But I'd be interested to know, if you don't mind answering - the first is whether you still envisage writing all the stories listed in the ESU intro post, which suggest that the 'verse isn't half-finished yet? I also wondered when in your writing/posting schedule you plan to fill in the later (post I Dream of Death) stories? Again, I love the series and I'll look forward to it whenever you're able to write and post :).
