*draws big sparkly hearts all around you!* I love how deeply engaged your comment is (and how engaged your reading must've been)! Goodness what a lovely gift for a writer! I have a billionty responding thoughts for you, but I'll try to make them at least vaguely coherent.
While your enjoyment of my smut is definitely a joy, I'm especially glad to hear that the character and relationship development had an impact on you. It's a lot of work (and fun) to explore Dean's complex relationship to his situation, so I'm glad some of that growth and struggle and uncertainty came through. As for the possible reference to JFY, well, I'll just say ... Oooo neat, a butterfly!
Your reading of Sam here is very astute. He's in a somewhat different headspace than we're used to seeing him in and I tried to make sure that his mannerisms reflected that - glad you caught that! Your questioning and speculation also definitely has some ... applicable concepts, shall we say, by which I mean OMGYERSOSMRT! One point for mulling, though, is that while Sam may easily be classifiable as manipulative, it's not necessarily clear that he's a liar, particularly considering his almost violent abhorrence of Dean's lies.
As for your questions about the universe, I certainly don't mind: 1) Yes, I do still intend to write all the stories listed in the ESU intro post, but it is possible that I'll skip some of the more interlude-like stories (those with comparably less character development) in order to progress further down the line, but there are very few of those and they tend to be quite short, so ... yeah ... *shrugs* 2) As for the post-IDoD stories, "Training Room 8" is currently third on my to-do list, after "Fucked" and "Going Down". After TR8, though, I'm not sure if I'll continue straight on the path of progress from there or if I'll fill in the gaps, particularly "Choosing Sides" (all the other remaining gap stories happen on the Day of Fire and are a bit more interlude-like). The reason why I post in the order I do is because right now there's a lot in that later section that wouldn't make sense, because readers don't have the background for it yet. I know that's a bit iritating, but I think you'll understand why it's important when you do see Fucked and GD and TR8. *sheepish* Sorry.
I'm really honored to have such an awesomely thoughtful and loyal reader like you and I hope I can continue to engage you in my wild and crazy world! *twirls you* ;-)
