Dean is really losing himself. I just hope that he manages to preserve himself in some corner of his mind...
Hmm, I was thinking of what Sam's nightmare might be. What if Dean's suicide in "I dream of death" isn't some dream of Dean's, but really happens! And that is what Sam sees?! Sam said his mightmare was gone for now, and that's after Dean has given in more to his slave role, so I'm thinking that his vision is somehow Dean getting hurt/killed because of how he acts? Maybe it's Dean's suicide, but maybe it's someone else hurting him....
I really love this series. It's so complex.
And I know a coulple later chapters list Dean being with OMC's, but I just can't imagine Sam sharing him...
