Tragically sad and heartbreaking but I love it so. I loved the odd tenderness that Sam showed him at the beginning, as if Sam knew somewhere deep down that if he didn't throw Dean a bone, then the break would become unhealable and Sam would lose Dean for ever even if he lived and then sadly the switch to the big stick at the end almost as if he regretted that interlude or was trying to show Dean it meant nothing to him
