This is one of the saddest things I have ever read. The universe is so *hopeless*. Evil!Sam just took away from Dean his last option - if he'd commit suicide, he'd go to hell for sure. There's something so unfair about the thought of Dean and Sam ending up like that...poor, poor Dean. After all that hellish day, he had to say what he said. At first I thought it was idiotic of him, but then I realized he had to - if he didn't, he wouldn't be Dean anymore.

Also, I keep wondering - if that's what Evil!Sam is doing to his brother, what is he doing to the rest of the world?

And the universe does seem kind of hopeless doesn't it? I don't know if it's really entirely hopeless or if it's just in a really dark place right now. But yeah, Dean is kind of screwed right now, and really, this is hardly the start of Dean being pretty much screwed. The darkness of this 'verse is pretty deep. But Dean's going to try to hold on to as much of himself as he can for as long as he can.

And as for Evil!Sam and the world, in later stories, Dean and, therefore you, the audience, will find out more about what "work" Evil!Sam does "in the field".

Hiya! Just popping by to tell how much I love your work. I've been reading the Evil!Sammy verse, and I just realized that Fucking for Favors - one of my favorite crossover fics ever, stored in my memories - was also written by you. So, you leave me no other option but to friend you, if that's okay ;)

I'd love to keep up with your fabulous writing and find out what's in store for Evil!Sam and his pretty slaveboy of a brother, although frankly their future together scares the hell out of me... as it's supposed to, right? It feels like every chapter breaks my heart a bit, and I keep wondering whether there can even be a happy ending to a story like this in the first place. Like you wrote in one chapter: wounds may heal, but the body won't forget. So hell is obviously not going to end for Dean if/when he gets Sam back, not for a long time at least. Or, maybe that's just my ponderings. I'll be very interested to see how it actually turns out :)

Hey there! Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying things around here and both the Evil!Sammy 'verse and FfF are some of my favorites too, so it's good to hear that I'm not the only one. ;-)

As for Evil!Sam, yeah, their future is supposed to seem pretty scary. It's definitely a dark 'verse, thought there weill hopefully be some light points in amongst the darkness. Regarding the ending (actually, there are two right now, so endings, but whatever, LOL), "happy" might not seem like something that can happen, but I'm hoping to challenge readers a little on the definition of happy, really. Let's just say, I don't think either ending is what one might typically call "sad" ... they're both just ... complicated. Heh. It's always awesome to hear reader speculation. And I do hope that you continue to enjoy this 'verse and any of my other work that you happen to read.

Hee, thanks for the add! It's a fairly new journal I've got, and my flist isn't exactly bursting with names yet, so all the merrier for me :)

I definitely like the idea of challenging on the definition on happy. I guess you in a way have to, mind you, if SPN is your thing; I can hardly see Sam and Dean living happily ever after, so we as audience are just going to have to settle with something else. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, though *points at your fic* ;)
