I really want to read this right now, but must go to bed. But I do want to make a commetn before I read-you say in the AN to see "Plain Gold Band" for a refresher on Sam's nightmares...so does that mean the visions he was seeing and saying he 'wasn't strong enough' about happen 'now'? I had thought the vision might be abotu something he saw himself doing to Dean in the future...

Apologies for replying to your comments so late, but as for your question, it's not necessarily that this is when Sam's nightmares come true so much as you see him experiencing similar nightmares again, so it may be good, for continuity's sake, to remind yourself what that looked like and what it may have meant (or at least what Dean thought it meant).
